February's Christian value is "FRIENDSHIP".
Welcome to Bosbury CE Primary School
Welcome to our thriving and friendly school where our pupils are at the very heart of everything we do.
You will find us in a beautiful rural conservation area located a short distance from the Malvern Hills and the market town of Ledbury. Our pupils have the advantage of learning in the centre of a farming community close to our local church and we also make sure they experience many opportunites in the wider community.
We are an inclusive school that focuses on the specific needs of every one of our pupils. Our enriching, thematic curriculum incorporates real life experiences and is designed to enable all children to succeed. We offer modern foreign languages, quality sports coaching, exciting forest school opportunities, a strong musical and art influence, as well as several extra-curriucular global and themed days which all contribute to a well-rounded and stimulating education.
Our staff are committed to the all-round development of our pupils and carry out regular progress checks to make sure children are reaching their full potential. We aim to enable our pupils to gain self-esteem, confidence, independence, imagination and generosity of spirit. For working parents, we are also lucky enough to have the added advantage and reassurance of an on site independently-run nursery at Jack-In-The-Box. This highly professional and expert team provides both a Breakfast Club and After School care.
In our 2011 and 2014 Ofsted Inspections we achieved the grade of 'Outstanding'. We become a Global Expert Centre in 2015, were awarded Arts Mark Gold in 2015 and have also received Sports Mark Gold for the last two years running.
In 2015, the school also received a SIAMS 'Outstanding' rating (click the logo below).
We are proud of our pupils. They take an active role in their wider world and ask ‘big’ questions about it. They are confident, articulate, kind to each other and polite to staff and visitors. They actively participate in our Arts Council, School Council and as playground buddies. Our choir, drumming and drama group are out and about performing and over 80% of our children attend after-school clubs.
We hope you find all the information you need on our website, but if you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit, please contact our main reception on 01531 640276.
