Water Bottles and Milk

Each pupil receives a new water bottle each time they start a new class here at Bosbury School, which are filled with fresh water daily and also cleaned out weekly by the class teaching assistant.

Each child has their own individual water bottle with their name written on the lid in permanent marker so there should be no need for pupils to share bottles. Pupils may of course still choose to bring in their own drinks from home to consume at lunchtimes such as fruit juice or squash (strictly no fizzy drinks please - we are a healthy-eating school!), but bear in mind that each child will always have their own school water bottle available for them to use in school.

Can we please request that parents avoid sending children in with bottles full of squash to use during the day. This is in the interests of teeth hygiene and to avoid bottles becoming mouldy. Children who require medicine in bottles must bring a note regarding this into school for Miss Cooke to see.

Last school year we also introduced water bottles with different coloured lids for each class to help us to quickly identify the class which each bottle belongs to - there always tends to be the odd bottle or three left lying around after lunchtimes or after-school clubs! This year's colours are as follows:

CLASS 1 - PURPLE

CLASS 2 - GREEN

CLASS 3 - ORANGE

CLASS 4 - BLUE

CLASS 5 - GOLD

Each child may also choose to pay to have a daily carton of milk to drink at breaktimes - please see our school secretary Mrs. Kaye if you would like to arrange payment for your child to have milk at school. Thank you.
