WHY CHOOSE BOSBURY CE PRIMARY SCHOOL?
WHAT MAKES BOSBURY SCHOOL UNIQUE?
At Bosbury, we offer SO much more to our pupils in addition to a varied and enriching school curriculum.
Perhaps the single biggest quality which Bosbury School has been renowned for over the years is the incredible musical prowess of our pupils. Under the teaching and coaching of our remarkable specialist music teacher Mrs. Walker, our pupils always shine with their beautiful and extremely confident singing at our annual church services and school productions, also playing a variety of different instruments such as ocarinas, trumpets and trombones, recorders and ukuleles, as well as our trademark Bosbury drums!

Taking full advantage of our lovely rural setting, we pride ourselves on offering exciting Forest School opportunities and activities to our enthusiastic outdoor learners (none of whom are afraid of getting just a little bit muddy!), with a wild and well-kept Forest School area occupying a sizeable portion of our field having grown considerably over the last ten years.
Another of our school's many unique qualities is our fantastic Bosbury Bike Bus, organised by British Professional Racing Cyclist and Bosbury mum Tracey Moseley. The Bike Bus is encouraging more and more pupils and parents to start their day in a healthy and sociable way by cycling to school from a number of local meeting places in the mornings.

As well as offering both breakfast and tea club wraparound care from 7:30pm to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, where for just £5.00 a session pupils can enjoy a light snack and use of our school's extensive grounds with an array of outdoor and indoor activities hosted by friendly members of school staff who are already very familiar to our pupils, we have the huge added advantage of an independently-run nursery situated very nearby!
Jack-in-the-Box Day Nursery School, owned by the proprietor Mrs. Jackie Barratt whose two daughters attended Bosbury, provides an exceptional early education to children aged two years to school age in the cosy Leadon Lodge setting literally on the school site itself complete with its own lively playground and fantastic Forest School woodland, while Crib Cottage just across the road behind Bosbury Parish Hall provides equally-exceptional care for even younger children.
For parents with children of both nursery and school age, Bosbury School is therefore an ideal choice in terms of providing true and complete wraparound care.
We also offer a varied range of exciting after school clubs which change every term! From sporting pursuits such as football, rugby, rounders and athletics, musical magic in drumming and choir, creativity in Lego, pottery and friendship bracelet-making, strategy and decision-making in chess to life skills such as gardening and first aid, there really is something for everyone!

We warmly welcome new prospective parents and their families for a tour around our thriving school - our lovely Headteacher Mrs. McManus is always very keen to show visitors just what our special school is all about!
If you'd like to come and see us, please do not hesitate to contact us on (01531) 640276, or at admin@bosbury.hereford.sch.uk.
Our friendly pupils and staff very much look forward to meeting you and telling you all about what makes Bosbury so special and unique.
