Headteacher's Award
Every so often, our lovely Headteacher Mrs. McManus hands out one (or maybe more!) of her very special new Headteacher's Award certificates, specially reserved for those superstar pupils whom she has noticed have gone above and beyond with truly outstanding work and behaviour.
Very well done indeed to the first two Headteacher's Award winners this school year!
We received some really amazing news only a few weeks after the summer holidays when it was revealed that the very talented young man from Class 3 shown below had won an art competition with his superb entry submitted last term when he was in Class 2, scooping an incredible £250 for the school to spend on new environmental resources in the process!
The extremely diligent pupil from Class 2 shown next to him also displayed his superb observational skills just before half term through spotting that a visitor didn't appear to be wearing a yellow lanyard as soon as the adult walked into the classroom!
Even though the visitor in question was quite safe and was actually wearing the lanyard underneath his coat, Mrs. McManus was still incredibly impressed by this young man's admirable detective skills and keenness to keep our school safe.
Well done boys, some really amazing work. We wonder who the first person chosen by Mrs. McManus will be after half term to receive her special award...?
