Clubs

HOORAY! THE FULL RANGE OF AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS ARE FINALLY BACK!!

After a wait of eighteen months, we are absolutely delighted to be able to announce that the full range of Bosbury School after school clubs are returning for the Autumn Term! As you can see, our pupils (including these energetic young ladies all keen and raring to go in Miss Spence's running club!) are very happy about the long-awaited return of their extra-curricular activities!

It's been a while since we've been running clubs at full capacity again, so here is a quick reminder of our after school club rules which we kindly ask all parents, carers and pupils to follow in order to ensure that our pupils are kept as safe as possible:

⇒ Children should not drop out from a club unless the school receives a legitimate reason in writing from parents.

Children must go to the club they originally signed up for, and are not permitted to change their mind and attend a different club during that term.

⇒ Parents MUST inform the school office if their child is going to miss a club that week for whatever reason.

If a parent is persistently late in collecting a child from an after school club (all clubs finish promptly at 4:00pm unless otherwise stated in the table below), the child will unfortunately have to leave the club. Our staff remain very busy after school attending meetings, preparing lessons and marking work ready for the next day, and do not have time to supervise children after 3:15pm.

A child who exhibits persistently poor behavior will be asked to leave the club.

Key Stage 2 children will only be allowed to walk home alone after a club has taken place if a parent or carer has previously completed a walking home form - these are available from Mr. Walker in the school office.

Children who are attending JITBX tea club on the day of their after school club must be ready to be collected by JITBX staff to be taken either over to the village hall promptly at 4:00pm.

Children will need PE kit if attending a sports club that day. Children already in PE kit from PE lessons earlier in the day can simply stay in their kit. Trainers should be in school at all times.

Not sure if you club is on this week? Don't panic! Check out the handy table below!
