Funny Veggie-Faces Competition!
Well done to all of the imaginative children who sent in pictures this week of their very funny vegetable-based face creations for this week's now fully-established Bosbury home lockdown photo competition! We are loving some of the hairstyles sported by these smiley veggie-people who evidently had to try and cut their own hair while waiting for salons and barbers to reopen on 4th July!
It took us a good while to work out which pupil was hiding behind the punk-esque edible face below, while the very clever young man from Class 2 also pictured below even provided us with an additional photo showing the making process of his very healthy friend!
Congratulations also to the three lovely young ladies shown below who were judged to be the winners of last week's Bosbury 'Read In As Strange And Funny A Place As You Can' (™) competition! There were so many original entries from enjoying books on top of climbing frames, up trees, in treehouses and up in the loft, reading to teddies in the bath and to pet geese in the barn, enjoying a story while keeping fit on the exercise bike as well as reading all around the farmyard that it was impossible to choose just one winner!
And what is THIS week's Bosbury lockdown photo challenge we hear you ask? Get ready to unleash your inner Mary Berrys and Paul Hollywoods into the kitchen as we present the first ever Great Bosbury Home Bake-Off!
Get your culinary delights sent in to school via email@example.com by 11:00am on Thursday 2nd July to be judged by Bosbury's premier bakers and be in with a chance of being crowned Bosbury Bake-Off champion! For now, here are some early entries to wet your appetites as these very focused-looking young ladies aim to follow in the footsteps of Sophie Faldo, Rahul Mandal and David Atherton (yes, the writer of this article did have to Wikipedia those names). Good luck Bosbury bakers!
