Fun in the (Smattering) of Snow!

While Bosbury pupils and dare we say it several members of staff were left feeling just a little disappointed when they opened their curtains on the morning of the first day of February to see that Jack Frost had been a bit of a letdown in not delivering the quantity of snow required for the fabled day off school, this still didn't stop the children from donning their wellies and mittons and making the most of the dusting which had managed to fall.

The school playgrounds and field had undergone quite a wintry transformation as even the moderate amount of snow which had fallen overnight was still enough to produce some good-sized snowballs and even some diddy-looking snowmen!

Of course, our Class 5 children also loved the chance to be able to enjoy having fun in the white stuff with their Class 1 buddies!

Will we see a heavier snowfall before the winter is out? Will scenes like the one from December two years ago below be repeated over the next month or so? The Bosbury Meteorological Service will be sure to continue monitoring our ever-changing weather patterns!
