Class 5 Celebrate End of SATs Week with Tag Rugby Extravaganza!

After a gruelling four mornings of taking on and conquering no fewer than six SATs tests, Class 5 had a fantastic end to a very challenging few days this week, getting the chance to let their hair down by participating in the first Weston's Tag Rugby Festival for three years!

A total of three teams of Bosbury sports superstars took to the various pitches of the Ledbury Rugby Football Club Ross Road ground in weather which, while overcast and very breezy across the open playing fields, soon turned into a gorgeously sunny and warm late spring day.

Our budding Jonny Wilkinsons and Sarah Hunters played six games in total over the course of their groups, with an impressive 32 teams taking part in total from schools across Herefordshire ranging from Ledbury itself to Ewyas Harold on the Welsh border.

Coach Handy's team finished a superb third place overall, while First Aid Physio Ponter's team achieved a very respectable record of two wins, two losses and a draw.

Well done to all of our Bosbury sporting superstars for their fantastic effort and superb sportsmanship shown towards other teams, to Mr. Handy. Mr. Ponter, Mr. Smith and Miss Palmer for accompanying the teams on the day, to Bruce and Charlotte Allcock for organizing such a well-run and efficient event, and to all of the Ledbury Rugby Club volunteers who refereed and scored at the festival.
