Class 1 get in the Children in Need Spirit!
Although events to mark the 40th anniversary of the BBC's Children in Need charity had to be scaled back this year due to the lockdowns and social distancing made necessary by the COVID-19 outbreak, with Pudsey Bear being unable to pay us a visit as we didn't have a bottle of antibacterial solution big enough to safely spray him down (see picture below for his 2019 visit when he made best friends with 118 runners Mr. Thompson and Mr. Ponter), caring Bosbury children were still keen to support one of their favourite charities by wearing non-uniform with their donations, with Class 1 in particular really getting into the Children in Need spirit.
Some lovely costumes of the forty-year-old bear were on show, with the children enjoying some lovely neat colouring of the charity's mascot.
Those who watched the shorter telethon on Friday night which featured Kylie Minogue, Cher, KSI (who? Ask a teenager!) and the nation's favourite PE teacher Joe Wicks will have seen that a very impressive total of over £37 million was raised in order to help the many thousands of disadvantaged children all across the UK, and hopefully next year the always-popular event will be able to return bigger and better than ever as life (fingers crossed tightly!) begins to return back to near-normality.
Well done Bosbury on once again showing superb support for Pudsey on the loveable bear's 40th birthday!
