Bosbury Races to Victory in Second Whole School Cross-Country Event!
After the success of last year's inaugural Bosbury School Cross-Country Run, which saw all pupils take part in a gruelling physical challenge around the neighbouring orchards kindly provided for the event by the Blandford family, we had no choice but to bring the run back for 2023!
Although conditions weren't quite as sweltering as they were the previous year, temperatures were still warm enough to make the laps around the apple trees a formidable test of stamina and endurance as the many tired faces attested, even if there were plenty of lovely resilient smiles as well!
Of course, those members of staff who weren't manning checkpoints, providing the all-important first aid and deciding the final placings at the finish line were also more than keen to get in on the action!
It was a close contest, but the BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD medals could only go to those budding Mo Farahs and Paula Radcliffes who finished in the top three in their respective year groups. Congratulations to all of the speedy sprinters shown below, proudly posing with their silverware in front of the amazing The Greatest Key Stage 2 Production backdrops painted by lovely Bosbury mum Mrs. Waters!
FIRST PLACE IN EACH YEAR GROUP!
SECOND PLACE IN EACH YEAR GROUP!

Congratulations to all of the medal winners, and a huge well done to every child who took part - we were once again SO impressed with your resilience and determination!
