Another Christmas Lunch Conquered!
It was all hands on deck on the last Wednesday before the Christmas holidays as Santa's elves (well, Bosbury School's crack team of teaching assistants and lunchtime supervisors) got to work getting the school hall ready for what is perhaps the biggest military operation of the academic year rivalled only by Sports Day, the Key Stage 1 Nativity, Key Stage 2 summer production and the church services - the infamous whole school Christmas lunch!
Somehow 150 children were squeezed into the hall to enjoy a festive feast of turkey with all the trimmings, along with the welcome return of the ever-popular (?) Brussels sprouts.
The children sang along to the festive classics provided by Mrs. McManus as they enjoyed being waited on by all of the adults in school, and amazingly, Bosbury's fantastic lunchtime team had the hall completely cleared by 12:30pm!
Thank you to Zoe and the team at Alliance in Partnership for providing such a delicious Christmas feast, to FOBS for supplying the crackers containing the mandatory bad jokes and curling plastic fish, and to all of the teachers, teaching assistants and lunchtime supervisors who worked above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that this extremely busy event ran smoothly.
Normal lunchtime service resumes in 2020! Don't forget to keep on top of ordering your child's meals if they have hot lunches - menus for each day right up until the Easter holidays can be viewed HERE.
