Bosbury Bike Bus
Our Bosbury Bike Bus is now bigger and more popular than ever, with growing numbers of both pupils and parents joining this exciting new initiative introduced to the school by British Professional Racing Cyclist and Class 2 parent Tracey Moseley.

The Bike Bus was originally started by Tracey last year but, since taking part in the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel 2025 challenge towards the end of the Spring Term this year, the group has expanded significantly and is now looking forward to continuing the initiative into the Summer Term with hopefully even more children and parents joining!
The group meets at different local places each morning such as Colwall Village Hall, Coddington Church, The Wheatsheaf Inn at Fromes Hill, Cradley Church and Ledbury train station. Although designated cycle routes are still sadly sparse in rural Herefordshire, there are still many lovely, scenic and quiet country lanes which we use to cycle to school in a relaxed manner.

The Bosbury Bike Bus would like to celebrate Bikeability Cycle to School Week from Monday October 13th to Friday October 17th!
We are going to try and organise a Bike Bus to school every day that week, and we would love any new children and their parents to join!
Before you do however, why not come along for a fun play on bikes to ask any questions, and for Tracey to check if you and your child are ready for the Bike Bus!
Come along to Hereford BMX Track (HR4 0JF) on Saturday 27th September from 10:00am to 3:00pm! You can drop in anytime for a play, it is perfect for all ages of balance bikes and adult bikes, it is a comfortable flat area with a play park next door too!
If you can't make it, please message Tracey or ask her any questions before joining the Bike Bus on the following days during the Bikeability Cycle to School Week:
MONDAY 13TH OCTOBER: Depart from Colwall Village Hall at 7:45am, stopping off at Coddington on the way at 8:10am before arriving at school for 8:40am.
TUESDAY 14TH OCTOBER: Meet at The Wheatsheaf Inn at Fromes Hill at 8:10am via Catley, with pick up at the bottom of Fox Hill near Catley at 8:25am.
WEDNESDAY 15TH OCTOBER: Meet at Cradley at 7:45am via Coddington, departing for school at 8:10am
THURSDAY 16TH OCTOBER: Meet at The Wheatsheaf Inn at Fromes Hill at 8:10am via Catley, with pick up at the bottom of Fox Hill near Catley at 8:25am.
FRIDAY 17TH OCTOBER: Meet at Tesco Ledbury car park at 7:45am via new houses to Southfield Lane - option to park at Peggs Farm at the end of Southfield Lane to depart to school at 8:20am
If you or your child (or both!) would like to join the Bike Bus, or if you live in a different area and would like to start or join the Bike Bus at a different place, please contact Tracey on 07885 210826.
We look forward to you joining the ride! It is SUCH an excellent way to meet new people and stay fit, active and healthy in such a fun and social way as part of the school day!
