School Gallery 2018-2019

Our photo galleries from the 2018-2019 academic year can be viewed below. Simply click on any of the galleries and a slideshow of all the photos in that gallery will appear at the top of the page.

Our last full school year before things took a hugely unexpected turn with the advent of (whisper it!) coronavirus was one of our busiest ever with a HUGE number of varied trips and themed days taking place, including Class 3 spending a day in the Stone Age with one of our favourite visitors The History Man (™) and travelling to Oxford to explore the Pitt Rivers Museum of archaeology, Class 4 venturing to Bishopswood for a Viking Forest School Day before hosting their very own Viking Experience workshop for parents, and Class 5 getting up very early for a long yet hugely exciting and interesting day visiting the Imperial War Museum in London.

Religious Education and an understanding and appreciation of other people's cultures and customs played a significant part in Key Stage 2's learning this year, with both Class 4 and Class 5 being fascinated by a visit to a mosque in Birmingham, as well as paying a further spiritual visit closer to home by learning to meditate at the Adhisthana Buddhist Centre in nearby Coddington.

Key Stage 1 also became superheroes for the day, Class 5 witnessed an alien crash landing on the Key Stage 2 playground (don't worry, we believe that ET got home safely!), an Air Ambulance POD landed rather more safely at the front of school for pupils to explore, Class 4 enjoyed working with staff from The Courtyard Theatre in Hereford to perform Roald Dahl classic The Twits, and Year 5 and 6 got the chance to practise their poetry skills with a number of creative Poetry Outloud workshops arranged by Ledbury Poetry Festival at Hellens Manor House in Much Marcle.

We welcomed High Sheriff of Herefordshire at the time Mr. Nat Hone to open our brand new Key Stage 2 playground equipment, and our young budding politicians of the future even got a special opportunity to ask questions to and debate important local education policies with North Herefordshire MP Bill Wiggin.
