It was an extremely colourful year at Bosbury during 2016-2017 as we hosted our first ever whole school carnival procession through the village which delighted residents and parents with its vast array of stunningly creative and vivid costumes and rousing whistles, bells and drums, together with what remains one of our grandest and most fondly-remembered Key Stage 2 summer productions, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
On a similar note, our esteemed choir (and Mrs. Walker!) got the chance to meet Julian Lloyd-Webber during a fantastic performance at The Three Counties Hotel in Hereford as many other exciting trips and enjoyable themed days took place, such as Class 2 going down under with an Australia Day and getting the chance to sample some Mediterranean cuisine at their very own Spanish cafe, Class 3 rocking out at an American diner
as well as staging their very own Egyptian Art exhibition, Class 4 flexing their scientific brains with a visit to Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum, as well as a whole school Roald Dahl-themed week where the snozzcumbers really divided tastes!
In a Bosbury first, our renowned drumming club even did a spot of weekend busking on the streets of Hereford, while our talented young artists also got the chance to display their amazing work at The Courtyard Theatre.
What an incredible year at Bosbury for the arts!
