Grammar Checklists
Please click the links below to view some handy checklists of all the grammar objectives which pupils are expected to meet by year group, such as correct use of punctuation, understanding and being able to use a range of word classes in their writing such as nouns, verbs and adjectives, using varied sentence styles literary devices such as alliteration, similes and personification, and of course, all of that lovely complex stuff which strikes fear even into the hearts of adults such as fronted adverbials, subordinate clauses, determiners and noun phrases!
