The first academic year free of all COVID-19 restrictions also saw Miss Spence's final year at the helm of Bosbury CE Primary School, as we bid a fond farewell to our lovely Headteacher of nine years at the end of the summer term.
Some fantastic class trips were able to take place this year with all restrictions having been lifted, including Class 5 becoming World War II evacuees for the day and visiting the WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre to study bird migration, Class 4 blasting off to the National Space Centre in Leicester, and Class 2 seeing lots of brilliant animals at the Cotswold Wildlife Park.
We showed our support for Ukraine, welcoming our very own Year 5 pupil who had travelled to the UK to escape the conflict, as well as creating artwork to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, enjoying the return of Bosbury's Got Talent, and taking on our first ever whole school cross-country run.
Our new school pond courtesy of the amazing FOBS was also officially opened during a gloriously warm and sunny summer fair.
The ever-popular Whoops-a-Daisy Angel was our Key Stage 1 Christmas Nativity this year, with Key Stage 2's summer production of Dazzle! was, well, positively dazzling!
