Trudgers take Silver!

Congratulations to Bosbury's latest hardened team of ten trudgers (we like alliteration!) who travelled to John Masefield High School on Wednesday with Miss Spence to take on this popular annual cross-country running competition.

The team finished in a highly respectable second place overall as they overcame the chilly conditions, even reportedly finding this challenging route easier than expected! It looks as if their regular training with the Bosbury Mile Run has certainly paid off!

The young man pictured on the left below came first in the Year 5 and 6 category in the infamous Monster Trudge which features additional objects such as cargo nets to scramble under, and, not content with being the first Year 3/4 pupil home in the standard cross-country race, the up and coming young Mo Farah on the right even put himself forward for the Monster Trudge race as well, finishing first in his age group! VERY well done!
