Spring Instrumental Concert 2018
Parents and carers at Bosbury were treated to a spectacular musical celebration on Thursday afternoon as they packed into the hall to see the superb spectacle of this year's annual school spring instrumental concert.
Vibrant violins, groovy guitars, resplendent recorders and fabulous flutes were in abundance as the visitors enjoyed some beautiful pieces from members of the school's new orchestra which was formed only last year by our peripatetic music teacher Mrs. Kay.
Well done to all of the instrumentalists for performing so confidently and a huge thank you to Mrs. Walker for organizing such a brilliant event despite spending the week battling against one of the many nasty flus doing the rounds at the moment. A music teacher with no voice is not good but we hope that she feels much better soon!
Thank you also to all of our peripatetic music teachers for all of their input over the weeks in allowing the children to practise and fine tune their instrumental skills, to all of the parents and carers who attended and supported the event, to the Bosbury WI for providing the cakes for the visitors, and finally of course to the lovely mums who served the all-important tea and coffee. Mrs. Bailey is already busy sewing new table cloths for the next event as we speak!
On the subject of the arts, congratulations also to the two talented pupils from Class 3 shown above whose work was awarded the highly commended accolade at the Malvern St. James Art Exhibition which took place last weekend. Well done also to all of the other Bosbury pupils who had their work proudly on display.
