Snow Days, Pantos and Christmas Parties!
Bosbury School children had an incredibly exciting last week of the Autumn term as two days of school closure due to some rather 'white' conditions were followed by playtimes in a winter wonderland as well as pantomimes and parties!
After being lucky enough to have two whole unexpected days off school so close to the end of term, you can imagine how thrilled the children were when they returned to school on Wednesday to find the school field still under an untouched four inch thick white blanket, leading to lots of fun as snowballs, snowmen and even igloos began to appear in abundance!
The fun then continued in the rather warmer classrooms as each of the Key Stage 2 classes enjoyed their own Christmas parties as Key Stage 1 visited the magical Clearwell Caves for a special visit to see Father Christmas the following day.
There was even time to welcome the Wizard William pantomime production as they were very kindly able to reschedule their performance at school to the Thursday following the snow, meaning that the children still got to enjoy a special pantomime in the hall featuring some of our very own pupils as guest stars!
When asked about their favourite moments at primary school by the time they get to Year 6, we are fairly sure that the events of this highly unusual festive week will feature quite prominently in pupils' memories!
