Mrs. Walker and Miss Cooke's Rwandan Experience comes to an end!
Mrs. Walker and Miss Cooke touched down back on British soil over the weekend as their incredible adventure visiting our Tara link school in Rwanda sadly came to an end.
The two intrepid Bosbury ladies were presented with their very own traditional Rwandan dress as they had a marvellous time getting to meet Emmanuel the Headteacher of the Tara school, the rest of the staff and of course all of the lovely pupils.
Bosbury's staff duo have been very busy during the course of the week teaching the Rwandan children, with (naturally) a particular focus on music. Below are some great videos which Mrs. Walker sent to Miss Spence showing how she has been introducing Bosbury's trademark musical instruments to the staff at the Tara school.
Back at Bosbury, Class 4 even came up with their own questions to ask Emmanuel when he phoned up live from Rwanda on Friday!
We cannot wait to hear all about Mrs. Walker and Miss Cooke's adventures when they return no doubt buzzing next week, and we would like to extend a huge thank you to Emmanuel as well as all of the staff and children at the Tara link school for being so welcoming and also to Mary and Glyn Watkins for all of their help and support during this extraordinary project.
