Mrs. Walker and Miss Cooke's African Adventure Begins!
Mrs. Walker and Miss Cooke landed safely on African soil over half term despite the thundery weather on Thursday night and are now busy embarking upon their trip of a lifetime as visit our Tara link school in Rwanda as part of a special project between the two schools working with the British Council.
Following a long and gruelling taxi journey after touching down, Bosbury's two intrepid adventurers soon became acquainted with the incredible sights and sounds of this fascinating country, even getting the chance to take a ride on a moped in scenes which wouldn't have looked out of place in a Top Gear special!
The ladies have now met up with Mary the lady who has been co-ordinating the visit as well as Emmanuel the Headteacher of the Tara School, and we are extremely excited to be hopefully setting up a live link between the two schools tomorrow! Get your questions ready children!
Thank you to all of the parents who very kindly gave donations which Mrs. Walker has taken on the trip with her - we cannot wait to hear more about their adventures as they start to work with our link school in sharing Bosbury's love of music as well as of course some teaching of English and Maths!
Mrs. Walker is also writing a superb blog about her amazing travels - you can view it here!
