Class 4's Letters to Rwanda

Class 4 have been busy during literacy lessons this week writing letters and emails about themselves to send to pupils at our African link school.

Miss Spence has told the Headteacher in Rwanda about the work which Class 4 have been doing and he replied:

"Dear Miss Spence

Our children can write - the only problem is that we don't have computers but it is very wonderful for your children to write to ours. Please tell your Deputy Head that I will help our children to send back emails through my own laptop.

We have started the second term and it is great to be with the children again. These are some of their photos for you to share with the children at Bosbury.

Emmanuel"

Our link school in Rwanda really need another computer so that they can communicate more effectively both with us at Bosbury as well as other people. Thanks to Bosbury children and parents, we have raised a fantastic £505.09 so far.

Mary, our friend from Welsh Water will be visiting the school in Rwanda soon and Class 4 will also be sending their letters. We will also be sending the Tara school some tag rugby belts as a gift as even though they have become a rugby school, they sadly have very little equipment.

We will be sure to keep you posted on further developments with our special friends in Africa. Thank you to Mr. Dunn and Class 4 for all of their efforts in producing these lovely letters which will help the children in Rwanda learn a little more about our pupils at Bosbury.
