Bosbury's Got Talent 2017 Winners Crowned!

Well it was another magnificent display of talent, bravery and skill in this year's Bosbury's Got Talent competition following the inaugural contest held last year, but despite an amazing variety of acts which included breakdancing, joke-telling, singing, dancing, instrument playing and even a dog act featuring newest four-legged Bosbury member of staff Wilf, there could only be one winner.

Despite stiff competition from the other acts and a lengthy discussion from the judges during the extended commercial break held once all sixteen acts had performed, it was unanimously decided that the winners of Bosbury's Got Talent 2017 were... drum roll please...

Class 3's amazing Cleopatra Ancient Egypt dance trio!

The judges were particularly impressed with how well-rehearsed and polished the dance from these three talented young ladies was (a post-competition interview with Ant and Dec over on ITV2 revealed that they had spent five weeks working on it), with confident singing, very in-sync dance moves and extra brownie points on the judges' scoresheets for the educational value of their performance to make them well-deserved winners.

Although the standard £100,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance could sadly not be offered on this occasion (although we are sure that Her Majesty herself would have absolutely loved the Class 3 girls' Egyptian masterpiece), the winners did receive the coveted golden winners certificates which we are sure will be worth far more than £100,000 in the years to come!

Congratulations also to the two extremely talented musicians below who claimed second and third place respectively with their terrific solo cornet and drum performances...

... and to all of the following children for making the final sixteen:

- Jack with his comedian act

- Luke breakdancing to the Gummi Bear song

- Sholto and his joke-telling performance

- Sam singing You Don't Know Love by Olly Murs

- Hayden and Edward singing Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake

- Flo and Rosa singing The Annoying Orange song

- Tommy, Jamie and Scarlett with their performance of Once I was Seven Years Old by Lukas Graham

Darcey with her dance to Hair by Little Mix

- Isla, Flo, Maxina and Wilf performing to Get Lucky by Daft Punk

- Ben with his throat noises act

- Leland performing on the piano

- Joseph performing on the trumpet

- Lily-Mai and Eva with their comedy act

The bar has once again been set extremely high - only twelve months until we do it all over again for Bosbury's Got Talent 2018! Get your thinking caps on everyone - what will YOU come up with to wow the judges next year...?
