Bosbury HAS Got Talent!
There were varied dances, brave solo performances, funky football skills and even an Indiana Jones-worthy display of whip-cracking, but in the end there could only be one winner.
Although the second and third spots were quite hotly debated by the Bosbury School judging panel of Mrs Wilesmith, Mr. Ponter, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Symonds, Miss Fisher and Mrs. Christopherson, a unanimous decision was quickly reached on the act which would be receiving £100,000 and a spot on this year's Royal Variety Performance.
Congratulations to the young man from Class 3 shown above whose spectacularly confident rendition of Rag'n'Bone man's Human made him the outright winner of this year's Bosbury's Got Talent competition. Well done and we hope that you enjoy performing in front of Her Majesty The Queen.
Well done also to the two pairs of talented young ladies shown above who achieved second and third places in the competition for their superb gymnastic routines, and also to all of the other brave entrants who put themselves forward for additions in each class and to those who showed a huge amount of courage in standing up to perform in front of the whole school in the hall during the Live Final of the competition held on the last day of term. Several videos of the acts can be viewed either on the school's Twitter page or on the Twitter feed found on the home page of the website.
Thank you also to all of the parents who supported the children with rehearsing their acts at home, to our judging panel and also to DJ Ponter for providing the music and being the compere for the event.
The standard just gets higher and higher each year. Who will win Bosbury's Got Talent 2019? Get practising now everyone!
