Bosbury Community Drumming Group Begins
This Monday saw the first session of the new Bosbury Community Drumming Group taking place in the evening in the school hall, and even after this first practice the drummers were sounding amazing.
The group is being very kindly funded by The National Lottery Big Lottery Fund and there are still spaces available if you or your child (or both!) would like to join. Everyone in the village has been invited and so if you know any budding instrumentalists who might be interested in taking up drumming, do please let them know about this new venture.
The group will run for the next twelve months and is free to join. Well done to Evie and her mum, Maxina and her dad, Charlotte and her mum, Taya and her mum and of course Mrs. Walker for doing so brilliantly during the first session. We look forward to welcoming Miss Cooke and past pupil Freya as well as Helen Smith and ex-Year 6 pupil Ollie to the group next week!
Bosbury School is fifty years old this year and so how appropriate that we are celebrating this occasion with joint school and community events like these.
