A Grand Christmas Fair!

A huge, HUGE thank you and well done to all of FOBS for putting on the most successful Christmas fair yet in the magical setting of Bosbury Church.

Crowds of children, parents, staff and village residents packed into the aisles to enjoy the HUGE range of stalls and games on offer, including a mini book fair, tombolas, lucky dips, produce, jars of goodies galore and the all-important cake stalls!

Of course, no Christmas fair would be complete without an appearance from Father Christmas himself, with the star guest being given the VIP treatment with a grand silver throne to sit on in his grotto accompanied by two rather familiar little helpers...

Everyone who attended were even treated to a special stirring performance from the Bosbury Community Drumming group on entry, featuring a number of familiar faces including past parents and pupils!

The final amount raised was a tremendous (tree-mendous?) £2525.36 with an overall profit of £2537.56, which is an absolutely incredible result.

Well done and thank you in particular to FOBS Chairpersons Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. Gatfield-Soloman who co-ordinated the event, as well as to all of the parents and other adults who helped to make the event such a huge success.

Merry Christmas all and look out for the two upcoming FOBS film nights in the new year to banish those January blues!
