Hola! Bosbury Children Enjoy Spanish Cafe!
There were churros and chorizos aplenty on Wednesday afternoon as each class got to enjoy a very special Spanish cafe held in the school hall!
Suitably dressed in a sea of red and yellow for the occasion, the children spent the morning setting about their usual school activities in and out of the Mediterranean-like temperatures and sunshine as they practised for the upcoming Key Stage 2 production of Oliver!, programmed robots, enjoyed creative play in the lovely cool decking areas and even continued with their balance bike training - not easy when you're wearing traditional Spanish dress!
The school hall then experienced the kind of immense buzz and excitement usually only seen during the whole school Christmas lunch as the diners took their seats, with the younger children enjoying being served by the Class 4 and 5 waiters and waitresses as Class 1 enjoyed tucking into a delicious array of Spanish treats with their Year 6 buddies.
The children even got the chance to enjoy some superb Spanish singing and performances courtesy of children from other classes on stage!
Well done to all of the pupils for conducting themselves so well in such a busy and humid packed-out school hall, and a huge, HUGE thank you in particular to Senora Symonds for all of her hard work in making the event possible by providing all of the delicious food and dining accessories and working so hard with the children on their performances. From everyone at Bosbury School, BIEN HENCHO Y GRACIAS Mrs. Symonds!
