Marvellously Magical Christingle!
Despite having two fewer days to rehearse as a sizeable sheet of the white stuff blanketed Bosbury at the start of the last week of term, the amazing pupils of Bosbury School still managed to pull together and produce an utterly spellbinding Christingle service in what was the very first time every class performed with an instrument at a church event.

The children got to work straight away after returning from their extended weekend in order to produce their christingles for the service following a very informative tutorial assembly conducted by the Reverend Mandy Williams, with some lovely scenes in particular on the Friday morning when Class 5 helped their buddies in Reception to create their masterpieces.
It was then time for the big performance to take place straight after the pupils had downed a full Christmas lunch, and with each class performing their own pieces with their instruments including ukuleles, bells, drums and even ocarinas in Class 2, along with some stirring pieces from the choir, beautiful readings and even a superb piece of drama from Class 5, and a very moving candlelit finale with the whole school circling the church with their christingles, it was a wonderful occasion as parents gave such positive feedback afterwards:
"What a magical end to the term, listening to children's voices and music at the Christingle - anyone else have something in their eye?"
"So beautiful! Definitely a tear in the eye!"
"Big lump in my throat!"
"Loved it! Gave me goosebumps too."
Well done to all of the children for such a incredible performance with such confident and clear singing, instrument-playing, reading and acting, as well as to all of the staff for practising the pieces with each class with a special thank you as always to our music maestro Mrs. Walker for putting the whole spectacle together.
A very Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year to all of our children and parents!
